Honesty I try to be truthful to myself, but more often than not, I skip around questions that make me cringe back in fear. Yet… therein lies the answer to the question I ran across a long time ago. A Year and A Half Ago Curiosity always had my rapt attention wherever I wandered, leading me to what I wanted to see and keeping me away from what I wanted to ignore. Some nights I sit in bed and stare at my palms. I marvel for the briefest of seconds at the lines that seem endless. I wonder if they really depict my life or even tell a story. I wiggle my fingers, sometimes as if I play the piano and other times just a twitch. Then I curl my fingers into my palm slowly, always slowly. My hand squeezes into a fist. I hold it tightly and I stare, feeling the pressure and my nails digging in. Well, folks: I'd like to restore your faith in humanity today (in under 500 words). A few weeks ago, I posted on Facebook about my son getting bullied in (and out of) school. So many offered advice and sent messages, and I was truly touched by the support—I may have even said as much, perhaps multiple times. One such message came from Sharon H., an employee of Lockheed Martin (PA) and someone I'm privileged to know from my days at Rosemont College. She asked, rather simply, if she could send my son a package. I agreed, never expecting the amazing thing she had planned. The package arrived the other day. Not only did it include patches

College proves to be difficult and leaves little to no time to dedicate to writing or creativity, but I try to find and cling to the moments of inspiration and passion I still have deep inside me.

Bam bam boom

I've been a bad person regarding my activity on dA. ^^; It's been a little busy and I haven't had time to work on any personal pieces. Actually, I'm more concerned about deciding which university I want to go to. Luckily, I only have two choices and not five. On the other hand, I'm still an indecisive person so two is a lot. XD I've pretty much settled in Georgia but I don't feel much different. I think I'm immune to moving's great big horrors. Unless you count those boxes I haven't unpacked yet and the clothes that still haven't been put in the proper cabinets or hangers. Four Years Old

I just realized that a couple of days ago marked a new year for me on dA. January 25, 2006. It's been four years, and I barely remember it. I was wondering why the number was different until I checked when I registered. :XD: It's not really an important mark but it's the first time I've recognized it (I think). Maybe it was a good thing I changed my deviantID. Something new and different to celebrate another year. I haven't really been writing anywhere. I've been rewriting pieces. Not polishing or editing. I'm literally rewriting some of these pieces that have been holed up in my hard drive. But I think I've hit a block. Oh, how I love you

General Update

I guess there's a lot to talk about and I'm not really sure where to start. On top of that, there are things I want to talk about, but I don't feel like it's my place to do so. I'm going to try to start where I can, and hopefully it'll make sense in the end. Today, I was catching up on my message center, especially the journals.
